Just across from the train and bus stations, the Lion d'Or is Haarlem's oldest hotel. In fact, its origins date back to 1839, so it's not exactly new! Naturally, the building has been updated several times and now boasts a contemporary, designer look, with pleasant rooms decorated in a vintage, photogenic style. Everything seems to have been designed to ensure that you discover the city in the best possible conditions. Luxury indeed, but controlled and never ostentatious. A sure bet for the city and beyond.
