After a 35-year absence, the Heineken Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix is back in 2021, thanks in no small part to Max Verstappen, the fabulous young Dutch racer. It takes place on the legendary Zandvoort circuit, an iconic track that hosted several editions of the Grand Prix in the 1950s-1980s. The circuit, located close to the beaches of Zandvoort, also known as "Amsterdam beach", is appreciated not only for its technical and winding layout, but also for its unique setting between the dunes and the North Sea.
