CIRCUIT DE ZAANDVORT
The Zandvoort circuit is the country's most famous racetrack, known not only for its geographical location (it adjoins the sand dunes to the west) but also for having hosted numerous Grand Prix races as far back as 1948. Abandoned after 1985 by its former owner (obsolete infrastructure), the circuit only returned to the limelight in 2021, as work on it had fallen behind schedule. As a result, it was once again able to host the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix. The circuit also offers baptisms and car/motorcycle competitions for the curious!
