Henri Willig is a family business, producing cheese in the Netherlands since 1974. Today, it's a heavyweight in the sector, with 30 stores in several European countries, museums in the Netherlands, and farms that can be visited - including the one in Katwoude. It's a fun and very interesting visit, as the farm is still in operation. You'll learn a lot about the cheese-making process, as well as the local wildlife. And, of course, there's a store with tasting facilities at the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

Visite rapide à la chaine
Les explication sur l'histoire des Wellig est très rapide, la fabrication du fromage, durent 30 seconde, bref le tout en 5 min et direction la boutique. De plus si on commente, on se fait remettre à sa place sans demi mesure. C'est dommage que le commerce passe au dessus de l'histoire !

La fromagerie, dont la chaîne Henri Willig est assez connue, a son origine ici. On nous a volontiers montré le principe de la fabrication du fromage et la majeure partie de la gamme de produits. Tous les fromages sont également disponibles à la dégustation dans la boutique. Comme il n'y avait pas trop de monde, nous avons pu visiter l'étable. Nous avons été satisfaits de l'accueil réservé aux clients et c'est avec plaisir que nous le recommandons à d'autres.

Quel plaisir ! Ingrid nous a donné de bonnes explications et nous a fait visiter les lieux. Je ne savais pas que c'était si accessible, même si nous sommes presque voisins.
Au printemps, je viendrai certainement câliner des veaux avec mes clients, St Philadelphia de Monnickendam.
