Charming and seductive mini-cruise by the Marken Express company
The Marken Express company has been operating on the Zuiderzee for over 100 years. Suffice to say, they know what they're doing! We found this mini-cruise very appealing in the sunshine. Marken's little marina is charming, and docking at Volendam's quayside is not lacking in charm either. In summer, prefer the seats on the upper pontoon (under the sun, of course): you can breathe easier and the view is superb. In winter or when it's raining, there's no problem, as the boats are fully equipped. A classic since 1920!

Marken est un magnifique petit village avec son port.
Le retour en vélo vers Volendan s’annonçait pluvieux, nous avons donc pris le bateau. Un peu cher avec les vélos (18 euros à deux) pour seulement environ 30 minutes de croisière mais la ballade sur le Markermeer était vraiment agréable avec une magnifique vue ...
