EDAMS MUSEUM
Very old museum, located in a beautiful Renaissance style house in Edam
This museum tells the story of Edam's rich history, from shipbuilding and the ceramics industry to architecture, historic families and daily life. On display are various items of furniture, pottery and porcelain, as well as glassware and local curiosities. It is housed in two buildings: the Maison du marchand de pierre, renovated in the 17th century, and the former Edam town hall, dating from 1737. Note that you can download a museum app with podcast to enhance your visit to the museum.
