Like many towns in the Netherlands, Hoorn has its own public scales, a magnificent historic complex that has become a tourist must-see. And, as elsewhere, this building now houses a café-restaurant. At lunchtime, the menu features classics such as croque-monsieur, soups and a variety of appetizing sandwiches. Several egg dishes are also available. The evening menu is varied, offering pasta dishes, meat dishes and several fish options. A good brasserie.
