RIETVELD-SCHRÖDERHUIS
House designed by architect Gerrit Rietveld in Utrecht, a national monument and Unesco World Heritage Site.
This house was designed in 1924 by architect Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964), at the request of Truus Schröder. It represents an example of the De Stijl architectural movement. Now a national monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is administered by the Centraal Museum. Since 2002, the second Rietveld residence has stood opposite this house, a 1931 model with furniture by Rietveld. Erasmuslaan, 9. A unique visit that will appeal to everyone, not just architecture and design enthusiasts.
