HÔTEL CORPS DE GARDE
Hotel offering rooms that are both very contemporary and classic, a perfect blend of ancient and modern
The historic Corps de Garde inn is one of the town's oldest and most beautiful buildings. Built in the 13th century, the current building was part of the town's ramparts. In the early 17th century, these walls were demolished, as they were becoming an obstacle to Groningen's expansion plans. The building became a hotel in 1991. Completely modernized in cooperation with the famous interior designer Bart Vos, it boasts 19 rooms, both contemporary and classic, very colorful, a perfect blend of ancient and modern.
