The Noorderplantsoen, Groningen's beautiful and pleasant city park located a few hundred meters from the main square

The Noorderplantsoen is the city park of Groningen located a few hundred meters from the main square. Located on the former site of the old city walls, it was opened in 1880. It includes several water features and slopes. Long but narrow, this park is 20 hectares and includes several works of art as well as a bat cave in the summer. This park is very popular with its inhabitants who like to meet at the Zondag café for a quiet lunch in a De Stijl pavilion. Beautiful and pleasant.
