Like many other towns in the Netherlands, Leeuwarden also has a crêperie. In this case, it's housed in a pretty boat, so that the children can enjoy it to their heart's content! This restaurant serves only Dutch pancakes, which are very thick and often very filling! There's no fear of sweet and sour, and the craziest combinations are the norm. We recommend the Michiel de Ruyter pancake, named after the famous navigator, with spinach (for strength!), brie, walnuts and honey. It's a great place to visit with the whole family.
