Eetcafé Spinoza is a popular Leeuwarden landmark that has become a veritable institution over the years. For over 30 years, it has been renowned as the friendliest café/brasserie in the north of the Netherlands. Located right in the heart of the city, it takes its name from the famous philosopher Baruch Spinoza. There's so much to love here: the garden, which is very pleasant when the sun first shines, the basement and the cocktail bar. A choice address with a pleasant menu, including several vegetarian dishes.
