Ecomare is a wildlife documentation and observation center that will make you love the Wadden Islands even more. Located on the island of Texel, it was founded in 1929! It boasts an excellent natural history museum, an aquarium and a marine mammal rescue center (where sick or injured young seals are cared for). It's a place where you can immerse yourself in today's concerns, with the preservation of animals, nature and man's impact on the environment. A 50-hectare dune park is included in the complex.

Un parcours permet une ballade dans les dunes, une volière permet de découvrir quelques oiseaux du coin.
Seul regret, les explications n'ont lieu qu'en Néerlandais, au niveau des plaquettes c'est écrit en Anglais et Allemand, rien en Français...
