On the famous Vrijthof square stands this theater with a varied program: theater, dance, opera, music, etc., for an eclectic, often international audience. The building, a city mansion dating from 1805, is beautiful. The theater officially opened its doors thirty years ago after extensive work and modernization by architect Arno Meijs, who also designed the Entre Deux shopping center. It is a very pleasant place and the programming should be watched.
