Poshoorn was voted best coffee in the Netherlands, no less! No mean feat, given the competition... This is a beautifully photogenic brown café. It boasts a wide selection of Trappist beers and 12 draught beers. The establishment also offers a variety of menus, as well as à la carte dishes (breakfasts, salads, sandwiches...). A beautiful address to pamper, which also doubles as a hotel: the rooms are bright and modern, with very comfortable bedding (but you have to appreciate the sound entertainment...).

Petit café bondé dès 18h pour l'apéritif, plus tranquille après 20 h, il sert de bons plats copieux et soignés à des prix raisonnables : Mestreechs Zoervleis (carbonnade locale) à 14.50€. Quelques petites chambres à l'étage, dans l'une des plus anciennes maisons de la ville. (L'escalier est fort pentu comme dans nombre de vieilles maisons hollandaises).
Le centre historique est à cinq minutes à pied par le pont piétonnier St Sevatius. Bref un lieu tout à fait recommandable pour passer une nuit et diner sur place.
