MOSAE FORUM
A set of new buildings located between the Markt square and the Meuse river, gathering offices, stores, parking
This is a complex of new buildings located between Place Markt and the Meuse, which took more than 5 years to build. Inaugurated in 2007, the site comprises offices (including those of the town hall), stores, restaurants and a parking lot. The two architects in charge of the project, Dutchman Jo Coenen and Belgian Bruno Albert, set out to rehabilitate the banks of the Meuse and create an economic and architectural link between the old and new towns. Note the pretty, huge wooden umbrellas.
