STADSMUUR
A relic of the past with an idyllic setting, with many trees and gardens, and a small farm for children
A vestige of the 16th-century city walls to the south. It's an idyllic setting for a stroll, with many trees and gardens, and even a small children's farm. Please note: the town has been surrounded by walls since Roman times. These were demolished in the 19th century, but today 150 objects, gates and towers still stand around the walls, giving the town its typical appearance. The whole complex has its own museum, which takes us even further back in history.
