This is an illustrious wine merchant whose beginnings date back to 1717. The company is housed in a majestic 17th century building with a cellar dating back to the 14th century, which was part of the first fortifications of Maastricht. The company has been taken over by a large Dutch group but the traditions remain unchanged. This place is just amazing in terms of history and tradition. There is even a real treasure room with remarkable bottles. You can have a quick look even if they are well protected.
