Very pleasant park located in the south of the city, 15 minutes from the center. A green oasis, this park also includes some rather special monuments, such as the Radiomonument, above the pond which commemorates the first radio connection with India. We also mention the Philips Observatory. This one dates from 1937. The park is the setting for many sculptures, which were placed in 1982 for the 750th anniversary of the city. Admire the beautiful pond and the aviary. This park is a nice stopover when discovering the city.
