This square is one of the city's most important. It links the central station with the Eindhoven shopping center. It is the work of Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas, who created a giant underground bicycle garage with space for over 2,000 bikes. Excavations in the garage take us back to the region's distant past. The ensemble concludes with the BLOB, Binary Large Object, an enormous glass construction housing several stores. The latter has even become a strong symbol of the city.
