SILLY WALKS TUNNEL
This urban tunnel, which is 130 meters long, connects the station area to the university area
This urban tunnel links the station district to the university district. It is 130 meters long and was created by the urban collective Studio Giftig. Inaugurated in April 2016 by John Cleese himself, this "tunnel silly walks" pays homage to Monty Python's famous 1970s sketch "Ministry of Silly Walks", voted 15th best sketch of all time. It's a dynamic place in perfect osmosis with the city, decorated with illustrations depicting Cleese in various silly walks, inviting passers-by to imitate them or not.
