A magnificent place where it is good to walk in silence and discover many interesting historical details
To the south of the city lies the Begijnhof, a not-to-be-missed attraction that has rightly made Breda famous. The complex of twenty-nine houses dates back to 1535 and consists of two parts, two hofjes (small courtyards) with a chapel, separated by an aromatic garden. At the entrance is the 15th-century Walloon church. A magnificent place to stroll in silence and discover many interesting historical details. The museum is at 45.
