The Stedelijk Museum, Breda's municipal museum, brings together the collections of Breda's Museum and MOTI (Museum Of The Image). It opened several years ago in a beautiful historic building, the "Oudemannenhuis". The museum's history dates back to 1903, when the first municipal museum was founded. It presents a vast collection organized thematically or historically, focusing on the history of the city. It also includes works and objects from the Musée de l'Image: modern and contemporary art is also on display.
