MERCADO DE CAMPO DE OURIQUE
A beautiful old-fashioned hall with restaurants serving national and international cuisine.
Since its creation in 1934, the Halles de Campo de Ourique has been home to one of the capital's most typical and popular markets. Restored in 1991 and more recently in 2013 by António Maria Braga, it has retained its original architecture to become a popular meeting place. It is home to a dozen or so restaurant stalls, cafés, florists and a wide variety of other stalls - after all, it's still a market... Unlike the Time Out Market, this place is still very popular with locals and is beginning to attract tourists.
