Multi-functional accommodation in Lisbon, featuring a swimming pool and rooftop, organizing various events for your well-being.

Selina is an international concept in multi-purpose accommodation. Indeed, it's not just a hotel or hostel, it's also a coworking space where various events are organized, whether for your well-being or for networking. It has establishments all over the world, and its intention is to give you a local experience. In Lisbon, in addition to your room, you can have access to coworking, a wellness area, yoga classes, a swimming pool and a rooftop.

A nice place like my other trips in Selina hostels.
The room was clean.
Breakfast menu and dishes were good and the place to have a drink is nice too.

Stayed at Selina Hostel and it was a good experience. The design is welcoming, and the reception staff were amazing! Natalia, in particular, deserves a special mention. Her warm smile and unparalleled assistance significantly enhanced my stay. She's attentive, personable, and truly goes the extra mile for guests. Her dedication is why I'll choose Selina again. Highly recommend!

Generally a nice hostel but you basically cannot work from any space for free, other than your room or an outside area with no cover for rain. 15€ minimum to work from the cafe, 10€ for the coworking space, cannot even have your laptop out while having lunch in the shared kitchen. I do not recommend this for digital nomads unless you want to pay extra. Also FYI the rooftop is closed for maintenance as of March 2024.

Would not recommend this hostel (and specifically the micro room).
- The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything.
- They advertise a sink in the room, this is not the case.
- They advertise that each bathroom for the micro rooms is shared between 3/4 rooms, this is also not the case. Everyone (including people staying in dorms and people using the restaurant/bar) have free access to all bathrooms.
- They advertise a free room upgrade if you book direct and there is availability. When we stayed there was availability and we were denied this. In fact, when we first enquired the staff said yes we could upgrade and went to check a price. When we queried about the free upgrade, she knew nothing about it and when her manager checked there was suddenly no availability despite rooms being available to book online.
- Housekeeping is not good, rooms were not cleaned properly and on two occasions our towels were taken but not replaced. It took reception an hour to replace them.
- The rooftop bar was not open due to the time of year but the actual terrace is meant to be open (as per advertisements around the building) but when we tried on two occasions this was not the case.
- On the plus side, the location is quite good.

Really disappointed. They have booked a whole female only dorm to a group of guys, who were noisy and disrespectful (the space connecting the 2 rooms should be a female only space with female only bathrooms - this is what the signs said, but that wasn't the reality). After complaints 1st night, they claimed to have a 'talk' with the guys, but the 2nd night was just as bad. Also, the rooftop was supposed to be open in March but is still in renovation. The staff is nice, but clearly, the management only cares about the profit. Had a much, much better experience at Selina La Paz.
