Next to Cais de Sodré, in the rising clean street that leads to Largo de Camões, this hotel full of taste and charm has an ideal location to discover Lisbon and for the weekend celebration (it is opposite the Pensão Amor). A "concept" hotel from which a certain poetry emerges, offering a different style on each floor: seven hills, Fernando Pessoa... Yes, you can even stay in a room once frequented by the famous writer! Some rooms (more expensive!) offer a view of the Tagus.

Interestingly, they offer beers in the fridge but you have to go downstairs for them to open… I found it funny. Card key only worked after a few times trying. Lights in the room not bright enough. Breakfast nice and complimentary pasteis de nata in the hall. Although in love with these pastries, not enough to recommend...

Le bémol pour moi c’est l’instance de la femme de ménage le 1er jour. Qui voulait faire le ménage alors que j’étais dans la chambre. J’ai demandé à ce qu’elle repasse après mon départ. Mais non elle insistait pour le faire. Surprenant.
