Tower of Belém, whose purpose was to defend the access to the port and which served as the residence of the captain of the port.
What about this magnificent symbol of Lisbon? What about the Manueline elegance of the construction of the Torre de São Vicente (from 1515 to 1521)? A blend of Renaissance and exoticism including memories of the Koutoubia of Marrakech! Know that in the past this delicate sentinel stood in the middle of the Tagus! The tower was intended to defend access to the harbour and was also used as a residence by the harbour master. The interior doesn't have much interest though. Remember to take a ticket coupled with the monastery that cuts off the line.

je ne l'ai pas visitée car la queue d'attente pour accéder aux billets, était trop longue
par contre très belle de l'extérieur ainsi que tout ce qui l'entoure,
ça vaut vraiment le détour
Bien penser à réserver ses places sur internet afin d'éviter une attente longue en plein soleil...
Peu de choses à voir à l'intérieur, des marches peu larges difficile lorsque l'on croise mais vaut largement le coup pour la vue.
