CENTRO COMERCIAL MOURARIA
No one has ever been able to really understand the objectives of rehabilitating this place that shows a little! But just a few steps from Baixa you will be surprised to fall on this amazing souk! Would it be a écho echo of the old quarter still proud of stealth glory? On eight fairly obscure and air-conditioned floors, small shops lead us to Africa, China, India or the islands. A little strange but very exotic and, in the end, full of discoveries. Angolan hairdressers, Cape Verdean bistros, Asian bric shops or K 7, CD & DVD of African music, Indian clothing shops or Goa food Shops offer an immediate take-off in carpets to the former Portuguese Empire… A small, low-cost travel is highly recommended because it is really the great Bazaar! In front of the centro comercial de Martim Moniz, which is much brighter than its neighbour, it gave two floors of basement to a Chinese wholesaler. There is also a large Indian supermarket that is really very well supplied and a beautiful saris shop.
