Founded in 1857, it was originally a tavern before becoming a pastelaria (pastry shop) and leitaria (creamery) in 1924. Everything is made on the premises, and the service is warm and familiar. There's a wide choice of pastries and snacks of all kinds, as they also serve savoury dishes. At lunchtime, tables are reserved for meals, but you can still order sweet treats at the counter. You'll also find local produce, including fruit, honey, chocolate and cinnamon, to take home with you!
