Church with walls covered with azulejos panels and a choir with paintings from the XVII century.
This church was built in the 16th century on the remains of a Visigothic necropolis. It was damaged during the earthquake of 1755. Its walls are covered withazulejos dating from 1748, depicting scenes from the Apocalypse and the life of the Virgin Mary. The choir contains 17th-century paintings by Josefa de Óbidos of Saint Teresa of Avila. On the ceiling, a painting by José Malhoa depicts the patron saint.
