Museum with a beautiful library offering a visit to discover the collection of paintings, tiles and sculptures.
A visit we recommend if only for the collection of paintings, furniture, porcelain, azulejos and sculptures, as well as the superb library. The Palácio Condes de Castro de Guimarães (built at the very end of the 19th century), was sold to the Counts of Castro de Guimarães, who amassed an impressive collection of art objects of all kinds. A wild mix of seven types of architecture (neo-romanueline, romantic...).
