This sanctuary was built in memory of Khwaja Parsa, a Sufi theologian who taught at Hérât college, founded by Firuza Begam, the Mother of Sultan Hussain Baiqara. Khwaja Parsa settled in Balkh and died in 1460. Example of the timurid architecture, the sanctuary appears in the form of a blue dome. A octagonal base, it is 25 m high. It is still in good condition, although its dome is partially damaged. Its facades are covered with ceramic tiles in white and blue tones. The large entrance gate, in the form of an arch, is covered with floral motifs. The inner main room is square and the walls are covered with mosaics with floral motifs. In the th century, several series of work were carried out on this mausoleum. In 1974, its facade was restored by Indian archaeologists. But during the war, the dome was hit by a rocket, which also damaged ceramics. Ceramics has been gradually replaced.
