One of the most beautiful terraces in Kigali! All made of wood, with trees around, a nice view and no traffic noise. The dishes are quite eclectic (international cuisine, with local Rwandan and African flavors) and vary every day, the herbs and salads come from the property's garden. The restaurant is also and above all a social enterprise, intended to provide training to young Rwandans and allow them to stand on their own two feet. Very popular with Americans and for good reason, the owners are Americans!

Beautiful place. Wooden terrace, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Only drawback: prices. Really expensive for what you receives. Excellent but expensive cocktails too. Perhaps more interesting to go there for brunch.

A gauche, une galerie d'art contemporaine ne manquera pas de vous éloigner quelques minutes des saveurs subtiles qui se dégagent déjà de la cuisine. A l'entrée, vue plongeante sur le restaurant qui est, en fait, une grande terrasse couverte. Le personnel de service maîtrise parfaitement l'anglais et se débrouille fort bien en français. La cuisine est inventive et fait la part belle aux produits locaux. Pour nous y être rendus plusieurs fois, il est bon de signaler que la qualité est très très régulière.
C'est donc avec l'assurance de ne pas avoir de mauvaises surprises que nous y allons de bon cœur. A juste titre, le patron manifeste que peu de francophones passent sa porte du fait que la réputation des lieux est de faire une cuisine "à l’américaine". Cela est, bien entendu, loin d'être vrai ! Amis francophones amateurs de bonne cuisine, visitez donc cet établissement. Vous ne le regretterez pas.
