Founded in 2007 by Collin Sekajugo, this gallery has truly opened the doors to contemporary art in Kigali, in a country where the profession of artist was hardly recognized at the time. Local artists meet every day to work together under the same roof. The works created are exhibited on site. Ivuka also organizes workshops to raise awareness of the arts and creation for underprivileged children, a dance troupe (RwaMakondera) was even formed in 2009. Rwamakondera rehearses every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 14h to 18h.
