Kingfisher offers Canadian canoe trips (a type of light open canoe) for a half-day journey on the Mukungwa River through the magnificent foothills of the Virunga volcanoes, discovering dozens of bird species. Exploration of the shores and islands of the nearby twin lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) is also part of the trip. Led by an experienced guide, this is one of the most popular activities in Rwanda. All equipment is included. No experience is required.
