Here is a small hotel perfectly kept, slightly set back, quiet, which offers a good value for money. The old building (on one floor) gives a certain charm to the place. There are 23 rooms of different categories, including 4 suites with a view of the lake. But the "luxury" rooms with balcony are quite sufficient. Airy and bright, they are equipped with mosquito nets and have a bathroom. A small garden, tables and umbrellas are there to relax, and a bar-restaurant pleasantly completes the set.

This place is great! Clean bathroom, hot and powerful shower, clean and spacious bedroom. The matrass is a bit hard, but definitely the best we had so far (we stayed in the standard room). They have wifi in the rooms. The courtyard is lovely and has a bar. The breakfast consists of soup, pieces of meat, cheese, bread, fresh fruit and omelette. The staff doesn't speak English very well but good enough. If you go to this place, also visit the restaurant across the street: lake side, that one has tasty food.

This hotel was actually better than I expected. It is close to the water, and the service is amazing. They were all super friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that the parking would get full, and it would be hard to find parking. Other than that I give them a 9/10! I will def be going back there when I come back to gisenyi.
The best at Gisenyi / Rubavu and around
