BRALIRWA BREWERY
Primus, Amstel, Mützig, Heineken, Virunga, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, etc., flow freely in this factory of the Brasseries et Limonaderies du Rwanda, or Bralirwa (1957), located on the Rubona peninsula and fed by the Sebeya River. The installations, especially seen from above, are impressive, especially since there are few structures of this size in the area. It is the first private employer of the country with more than 500 workers. The brewery also provides a livelihood for many upstream producers, including 35,000 sorghum farmers.
