Beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and very close to the rainforest. Rooms and amenities were all very clean. Staff was friendly and professional.

The hotel is located on a strategic point where you have beautiful views if the sun shines. Rooms are big enough and well decorated. The staff are friendly and really do their best. The food though was terrible. The vegetables were definitely not fresh but from a can. The fish fillet didn't have any taste. I asked for coconut sauce but cocktail sauce was made. The staff didn't even apologize for the mishap but tried to convince me that's it was coconut sauce Such a pity because it's such a nice location. Breakfast was terrible too. Dry bread. The manager should ensure that quality food is served. Otherwise the place is just over priced!!!

Top view Hill Hotel is absolutely fantastic. The accommodations and staff are better than I could ever imagine. I have stayed at luxury hotels across Africa, and this one certainly meets all of the requirements. At night warm water bottles were placed in my bed and sheets and towels were cleaned daily. Fresh flowers in the bathroom and a fire stoked in my room each night were wonderful touches. You are minutes away from the national park and transportation to and from the hotels is quite simple. If you want to spend 10 times more money, you can go to a slightly better hotel called one and only but I say save your money and have a wonderful experience at Top View. :)

They have to improve the service

This hotel is situated in a breathtaking location overlooking the national park and the surrounding tea fields. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive leaving umbrellas outside of our room when it was raining or hot water bottles in our bed when it was cold. It felt like they were always thinking about how to make our stay perfect.

Highlight sind die Wärmflaschen im Bett. Idyllisch gelegenen. Affen laufen über die Terrasse. Und da es nur 12 Bungalows hat, sind maximal 24 Gäste dort.

Eric M in the restaurant and Ange at the reception were great, always welcoming, friendly, and professional. The hotel is a strong 3+ to 4 star hotel. The food is good, the service staff overall are ugreat. Our room was clean and spacious. Their opportunity is in the details, there is no wifi in the rooms. There is only wifi in the reception area/restaurant.

The food and the service are excellent. The rooms are a bit outdated however. The location offers a nice view over the national park

I was sorry to leave the place after only one night, because it's clear the staff here have their guests' needs very well defined. There is alot of fanfare when you first walk in: a hot towel for your hands and a cup of delicious tea while you check in. You place all your meals in advance, which is nice if you're doing chimpanzee trekking like us and leaving at 5am the next morning. The staff here was friendly; Eric made room for us on the balcony and chatted with us about his home in Gisenyi. I loved the rooms, too—each one is an individual structure with a small sitting area, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a balcony with the most gorgeous view of Nyungwe National Park and the surrounding hills. There was also a hot water bottle in our beds after dinner, which was such a cozy and thoughtful touch. Only con was the bed itself; our room had ancient springs that dug into you when you lay down and was rather uncomfortable. Overall a good experience and one I'd recommend to travellers in the area.

I really loved their attention to the details , and how they try their very best to make your experience unforgettable , the staff are always smiling and welcoming , their food is so tasty, they start serving breakfast @4:30 AM just to accommodate their guests’ tours schedules , highly recommended
