RUHANDE ARBORETUM
Created in 1934 by the Brothers of Charity with the aim of promoting agroforestry in Rwanda, the Arboretum today has more than 148 species of deciduous trees and 56 conifers, encompassing a mixture of exotic and indigenous species, on a territory of 200 hectares. The Arboretum was promoted in 2018 by the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy, a forest conservation program within the Commonwealth. A place of silence and beauty.
