If you had to do only one activity, apart from the game drives of course, remember this one. A boat trip on Lake Ihema, in the early morning or at sunset, is a must. For the lights and the colors that dress the sky and the nature, for the pleasure of sailing from island to island on the lake, to have another point of view on the Akagera, for the new encounters that this walk on the water can offer: elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos, fish eagles, swarms of birds... A unique experience, very complementary.
