This event has been celebrating since the th century, dedicated to the Holy Spirit: Young girls (who, theoretically, must be virgin!) move through their heads with a pile of bread equivalent to their size. This event was created by Queen Isabelle, wife of King Denis, within the framework of the worship of the Holy Spirit, an excuse to distribute the bread and fruits of the crops to the poorest. It is also said that it would have a relationship with ancestral practices, according to which the fruit of the harvests must be restored to the gods, in order to thank them for the fertility of the earth. It takes place every four years, the next edition is expected in 2015!
