Magnifique bâtiment situé rua de Santa Maria dans le centre de la ville. Nombreux édifices administratifs avoisinants aux façades décoratives et typiques de la région. Petite place ombragée avec bancs et égayée d’une fontaine très rafraichissante.
Nous y sommes rentrés par curiosité ne parlant pas le Portugais. Les salles sont bien structurées et divisées en section enfants, adultes. Nombreux documents papiers et audiovisuels avec accès internet. Quelques livres en Français.
