An ideal break on the national road heading south, the Bistrot Gulli is a culinary interlude in the Algarve. In fact, the cuisine is not Portuguese but Italian, while taking inspiration from local recipes to create delicious new dishes. So you'll find cannelloni and carpaccio, but accompanied by fresh fish or sweet potato, the region's famous sweet-tasting starch.
