Vila do Bispo's ancient watchtower, on the highest cliff, 157 m high, offering a majestic panorama of the coast.
This ancient watchtower was built on the highest cliff at 157 meters high, to watch over pirate invasions and control navigation. To reach the site, head towards Praia do Castelejo; 2 km after Vila do Bispo, follow the path on the left that indicates Aspa. It takes about 2 hours to walk there and back. When you arrive at your destination, you will discover a majestic panorama on the coast, guessing Cape Saint Vincent and Sagres in the distance. At the approach of the cliffs, we have the breath cut. Be careful with the winds which can be violent.
