Maria Loureiro de Lemos had never worked in the restaurant business when she decided to open Travia, with its inviting terrace, in the center of Lagos. It was a series of coincidences that led her here. From there, she turned to small producers, both in wine and gastronomy, and enjoys experimenting with inventive combinations of ingredients. Such is the case with Algarve-style carrots served with labneh. Goat's cheese with jalapeño chutney is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine.
