FORTALEZA DA LUZ
Located in an old historic fort dating from 1670 on the rocks overlooking the beach, this building is one of the last vestiges of that era. This restaurant is run by a Frenchman who has been a fan of the area for years. An idyllic setting for lunch in the garden during the "jazz lunch" or dinner in the guards' room, in a magical atmosphere with a medieval fireplace. The Portuguese gastronomy is honored: cataplana, cod fillet, monkfish and fish of the day from the local market, good wines, without forgetting the irresistible homemade ice cream.
