ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF ESPICHE
Charming ethnographic museum, offering a free visit to see rustic wooden figures carved with a penknife.
It took Antonio Mendes, the creator of this charming and unique ethnographic museum, 13,500 hours of work to carve these 456 rustic wooden figures representing the customs and traditions of the region with a penknife. We will see the drying of figs, the collection of shells, everything that made the daily life of yesteryear. The visit is free but you must call first. Please note that the museum is not located in Luz, but in Espiche, 1.5 km from the centre of Luz.
