There is not a bus station, but a large number of bus stops (some with shelters) in the Zona Riberinha (Alvor, 4 km west of the center of Portimão) close to the promenade on the banks of the Arade, on the Guanaré avenues, Avenida Aferé Onso Henriques. The Eva box office is located near there at Largo do Dique (¥ 282,400,610) near a Chinese restaurant. Six buses a day for Lisbon. Frequent links to the Algarve: Faro (7 buses a day on weekdays, 5 weekends, counting 1:45 a. m.), Lagos (about 15 buses per day, 25 min., Albufeira (10 buses), Silves (4 times a day), Monchique, Sagres (from 2 to 10 buses per day, depending on season)… for the Alentejo. Very frequent shuttles with Alvor, Ferragudo and Praia da Rocha. Possibility to buy a tourist pass giving unlimited access to transport for 3 days.
