The name "Tueur de Porcs" ("Pig Killer") would give you the creeps, but don't worry, it's just the nickname given back in the day to Toino, father of the current owner, who used to kill pigs on his farm to make succulent chorizos. Fernando, a strapping 1.90 m tall man, has taken over the 60-year-old family business. It's a good place to take the pulse of the city while feasting on bifanas, lulinhas or pork with clams in a unique atmosphere. The tables on the sidewalk are crowded at all hours by locals, which is always a good sign.
