Estombar fountains with picnic facilities, forming a natural pool with the waters of the River Arade.
The water from the fountains is born between the limestone rocks and flows towards the old restored and working mill. Its meeting with the waters of the river Arade forms a natural swimming pool. In spite of its small surface area, a great diversity of environments representative of the Mediterranean landscape can be seen here: salt marshes, scrubland, a pond. The area has picnic facilities. To get there, take the direction of Portimão and the last exit from the roundabout towards Modelo and Estombar. You will then find the sign Sitio das Fontes.
